We are a group of women forming a self help group of women with physical disability in Malaysia. Our group is called WanitaKU (Wanita Kurang Upaya) or in English it is translated as “Disabled Women”. The members are Malaysian women with physical disabilities and the spouses of these women are the affiliated members.

We have formed a self help group for Malaysian women with physically disabilities with the objectives to foster relationships amongst physically disabled women, motivate our peers to be self reliance and independent, create awareness to the general public about woman with disability, support each other in the hardship to overcome common problem, share knowledge that we gained through individual experiences, support our under privileges peers to have better access and communications, provide skill training and employment to be independent, information on the issues and activities of woman with disability in Malaysia and around the world, business opportunity, and in future to run our own self help center for the above activities.
